MAY 4, 2024 GENERAL ELECTION
The City of Hutchins will hold a General Election on Saturday, May 4, 2024, to elect a mayor and two council members at large.
A Special Election is hereby ordered for May 4, 2024, for the purpose of submitting Proposition A to the qualified voters of the City to establish a term of office of three (3) years the position of Mayor and City Council members beginning with the positions to be elected at the general election held on the uniform election date in May 2025

Important Dates
Wednesday, January 17, 2024: The first day for a candidate to file an application for a place on the ballot.
Friday, February 16, 2024 - 5 pm no exceptions: The last day for a candidate to file an application for a place on the ballot for May 4, 2024, General Election.
Thursday, April 4, 2024: Last Day to Register to Vote in time to vote at the May 4, 2024 Election.
Monday, April 22, 2024: First Day of Early Voting by Personal Appearance.

Monday-Tuesday, April 29-30, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 30, 2024: Last Day of Early Voting by Personal Appearance.
Saturday, May 4, 2024: Election Day, polls are open 7AM to 7PM.

An application may be submitted any time during the year of the election. The deadline for which applications for a ballot by mail must be received by the early voting clerk is April 23, 2024 (the eleventh day before Election Day).
