The Atwell Public Library Board shall act only in an advisory capacity to the City Council. The board assists library management in planning for future development of the library including reviewing and updating policies, monitoring existing operations, making recommendations regarding fee schedules for services, supporting funding, promoting library services and programs, and providing support for management initiatives and decisions.
- Composed of six (6) members.
- Members serve two-year terms, three (3) of which expire in even numbered years, and the other three (3) expire in odd numbered years.
- Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
